In 2003, a young man named Jay fulfilled his dream of opening a restaurant in honor of his beloved grandparents. Growing up in Garfield NJ, he learned to cook traditional Italian family recipes with his grandfather, William, and bake sweet Italian desserts with his grandmother, Lucia. After settling down with his wife, Danielle, and starting a family in South Jersey, Jay worked in a local restaurant for almost a decade before opening Marchioni's Pizza & Pasta on August 11, 2003. Today, over 20 years later, Jay continues to serve the community with food made of the finest ingredients and recipes filled with the love of cooking he learned in his grandparents' kitchen.
